6th gear vibration.

Hello gents,
Problem
- In 6th gear only, at under 3k rpm, I feel a strong vibration through the footpegs when rolling on throttle. Not when coasting, only when applying throttle and only at lower rpm.
Has anyone else run into a similar issue? I am trying to think of how my 6th gear could be worn or damaged? Im struggling to think it is the dogs as it clicks in and out fine, and does not slip out at all. Maybe a broken tooth? I guess I can only really know if I strip and inspect, but I am reluctant too as it otherwise rides fine. 61k miles on the motor.
