Hi guys, it's a bit bloody chilly in the garage at the moment (0 degrees!) so I'm planning the electrics out and thinking about the positioning of parts. I am thinking of placing the rectifier under the seat - mounted on 'engineering' nylon tray. Question is (as I have Never actually run this bike) is how hot can the rectifier get? I do plan on allowing an air flow to it, but would it melt the seat above it, the nylon below it, surely it doesn't get that hot....does it?
