Carb Needle Question

Does anyone know where replacement needles can be obtained? I've looked high and low on the internet and can't seem to find any. The shop manual gives a part number of 4b10. I've been able to find other Mikuni needles but not ones that are the same diameter as 4b10.
One of the needles I have has some slight marring around the tip and I would like to replace it if it's not prohibitively expensive.
Also how in the heck can I get this old gas varnish off? I've soaked the needles in carb cleaner and seafoam and neither have made a dent. I was going to try a carb dip next but the price on that has gone way up. Thought about lacquer thinner/acetone as well, but if carb cleaner didn't do the trick I didn't figure they would either.
