'92 Extreme Makeover Bike Edition

So, as I told on my presentation post (Greetings from Portugal!) this beauty was pretty beaten up (with strange mods and lack of love) by the previous owner. So after getting my license this summer and enjoying a few rides on Red Belle (I got her renamed, you'll see why 
), finally arrived the time where the makeover starts.
On the past two weekends I started stripping her down:
This is the reason for the renaming, as I intend to maintain the red on the final project, but on the tank:
