Hi there,
thanks for accepting my application to the xjrider forums! I'm from Hungary owning an '94 XJ600 diversion for two seasons now. I got my license about 20 years ago, but except for the first two years I never drove a motorbike (and even then I rode a '67 made 2 stroke 250cc bike)
In 2019 I thought this might be a good time to buy a bike (which could be a sign of a midlife crisis
) so I walked in to a motorcylce garage asking for a bike which is good for beginners. The owner told me I should buy an XJ600s so I bought it right away and I'm a happy biker since then.
I love the bike, its just perfect for me. 50HP is great for beginners, its not agressive and cheap to run (I'm always below 4.5L/100km). The last year I was living in Germany for couple months working on an automation contract and I took a deal and got rear and side boxes and mounts for a reasonable price! Come really handy when I ride with my girlfriend and we have some stuff to carry.
I'm a programmer (and have very basic knowledge of electricity) so please go easy on me if I ask stupid questions!
