front Brake system - Handlebar options

Hi,
I would be interested to hear if anyone has upgraded their Front brake reservoir/levers from a donor bike what works well etc... Mine has a broken bolt lodged firmly in the reservoir fixing, I can't get it out and today broke a drill bit in there..... so I need a replacement. Will any front brake reservoir fit?
Also a replacement headlight, mine has rusted through so I'm looking for options, I like the size and chrome of the original so anything similar recommended?
