My commuting partner is looking to trade his $1000-valued Mazda (he's now driving another car) plus his current old Ninja (probably wouldn't get more than $600 - $700) for a '93 FJ600R that has 23K on the body and 3K on a completely rebuilt '97 engine. Not knowing much about these models, I figure there is enough talent here to help him decide. The owner had the bike listed for $2300 (possibly a little high IMHO), and here's a pic of said FJ (and yes, I said it, too - it's a house-bike!)



Any thoughts on this? Any things to consider, things to look for? What is the main difference between this and my XJ600 Seca II?
