Hi all,
Firstly, let me tell you how pleased I am to have found your website. The quality of the content is just staggering and it makes me want to pursue taking care of my ageing classic. Thank you for that. I really mean it. I didn't know the XJ600 had such a classy website. Here in France, it's becoming an exctinct species, mostly due to the fact that she's always had that sort of low-class image and mere consideration. I hardly see any around these days, especially in good condition, although Paris is the capital of 2 and 3 wheels. There used to be a French site dedicated to this model but it's been festering for many years without being updated.
But it's a good bike and I don't give a fook about foul mouths. :fart:
To cut the long story short, my Div (it's called Diversion in France, not Seca) has been my best 2-wheeler friend since I got the motorcycle driver's licence back in 1998. I learned everything on it and passed the test on it. So when it came to getting my first bike, it really was a no-brainer to me. And she's been true to me ever since. She's around 60000miles and still doing a great job. I'm using it daily to go to work in Paris when the weather gets nice until really bad winter conditions and she's a sheer pleasure to ride. She's such an agile bike in heavy traffic. She's had a few accidents, a few repairs but she's still up doing justice to her reputation of being reliable, economical and unbreakable. :cruise:
She has her defaults of course but nothing that can rule out her qualities really.
And to be honest, despite some gross design errors, she really has a sleek look, which I always liked. And mine is pretty much stock.
So many thanks again for this awesome website, congrats to all registered fans and here's a pic of my Div

See you all later. I think I already spotted some interesting mods in here :grins:
