Well since I am still relatively new to the Seca I think I will start my own thread for my project.
A little about what I have so far to do...hmmmm...where to begin???
Well I just bought the bike about 3 weeks ago..the first week was a shake down down ride to find out what was potentially WRONG with the bike, and unfortunately there may be more going on than I initially thought.
Things to be done in weeks 2 and 3.....
1) derust the tank and rebuild carbs (done)
2) synch carbs and run for a couple of days
3) get turn signals and mirrors set properly...(1/2 done)
4) check clutch assembly for major wear..possible rebuild and replace
5) replace exhaust...has to be done....
6) begin removing and moding existing fairings and panels
That is what I currently have on my plate for this weekend.....boy a lot to be done in a short amount of time.
Next will be the actual headlight replacement and gauge replacement...gotta save the money for the ones that I am looking at....good thing I gave myself 6 months on this one...lol
Will post current pics of what the current shape the bike is in at the moment...not a pretty site I must say
