Handlebars hit the windscreen when I turn full right.

Maybe a weird one, maybe not. 
If I turn my '94 Seca's handlebars fully to the right, the left mirror hits the windscreen. Looks like this probably happened to the previous owner, since there's bolts missing for the windscreen on the left side of the fairing. As if it was bumped enough times and pushed them out or something. (I haven't gotten around to looking for replacement hardware.)
It is a bit worse since adjusting my levers down a bit, but it doesn't hit when I turn full-lock to the left. This leads me to believe that something's amiss with the fairing alignment perhaps?
At some point I'll be ripping it off anyway for a naked conversion, but I just wondered if there's anything in particular that might be worth looking for. Thanks.
