Ignition wiring help

Alright got my first bike this summer, and am in the process of fixing some small issues which now bring me here to ask for help.
Problem: Tail lights don't light up, but break lights works perfect!
Followed the problem to the ignition, where i found this wonderful mess
Now from my understanding there should be four wires, one of which is the tail light.
Looking closer this is what i see
I have a difficult time knowing exactly how the wiring should look here. Any advise is appreciated.
