Windscreen options

I'd just like to know what my options are as far as stock windscreens go. Is purchasing a used stock unit my best bet, or are there many aftermarket options? I'm not really looking for a touring screen or anything, I just need one for my new to me fairing. My bike is a '97, in case that determines what my options are.
