I'm a little worried, and prepared for the worst.
I have a noise, a loud TOCK. Not a tick, not a bang, a TOCK
. This TOCK is very intermittent, it's almost non-existant it happens so infrequently, but it's there. I've been "listening" with a piece of pipe but can't track it down, again because it's so rare. It took me probably a good 30-45 minutes of running the engine at different times to be able to record the noise so that I can get some opinions. Generally, I hear it at idle but it could be it just hasn't occurred yet at higher rpm's or in gear (on a stand). When it does happen, there is absolutely no lag to the engine, no drop in rpm's, but it does slightly shake the bike. Not a lot, but I can feel it on the frame.
In this instance, the bike had been running for a about 2 minutes, bike was warmed up and I had just closed the choke.
The noise happens at the 20-21 second mark.
Have a listen please and don't hold back. I need things to look at.
