New guy to bikes from maine

So I am a off road guy with a landcruiser. I have been wanting to get a bike for years. I have no experience with them and never ridden but came upon this bike from and fellow wheeler and figure its a good place to start.
I know nothing about bikes but would like to learn and figure this good project. Julian
"92 yamaha seca 600cc, $500 obro. needs rear tire, carb tune-up, batt. i rode it 2yrs ago for the season. i replaced the clutch, chain, front tire, rebuilt front fork tubes & brake caliper. lost interest since i got jeeps"
