!!!!HELP!!!!!!charging problems

hello i have a 92 seca ii.......i replaced the stator hopin it would stop runnin on the battery......an run like normal again, i didnt replace the magnet part that spins tho. i got a used so idk if its bad to. the part that spins is makin kinda a rattling cluncking noise. im at ends to figure out what is wrong but i need to figure it out cause its killin me not riding anyone got any ideas
