biggest rear tire size

so this is more of a mod question than stock replacement. Has anyone tried and succeeded on putting on a bigger rear tire on the XJ's? im sure with the stock swing arm you wont get much larger, but has anyone put in different swing arms, let say from an R6 class bike to fatten up the rear tire?
