Bike down please help

OK I've been riding my 93 xj600 for 5 yrs now n so far no major problems. Until now. I've torn down carbs a few times n put back together n worked fine. All of a sudden one day I go to start it n it just clicks well I changed this part pic enclosed with a used one that I ordered online. Not sure how to test it and I got a used cdi box. It's still clicking. I touch part I have in pic when I try n start n I can feel it clicking from the part but I'm still not sure that what wrong please help I love n miss my bike
