Got the rack, loud a$$ horn, some rain gear, intercom system, packed some tools, a qt of oil, my gf, a Z125 and a Honda Grom. Road trip time. All secondaries.

Hope the weather cooperates...

This was inspired by Radare's "go slow and actually see the country" theory.


"Along the Coast and Through the Mountains"
Trip from central CT up to Maine, following the coast line. From there to the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Ride the iconic Kancamagus Highway and head to Vermont to ride through the Green Mountains before returning home.

Total Distance: 789 Miles.
Estimated Ride Time: 21 hours.
5 days, 4 nights, 125cc's per rider.


Day 1: Central CT to Gloucester MA (North of Boston on the coast). 165 miles, 5.75 hours.
-Breakfast in Sturbridge, MA.
-Stop at Assabet River National Wildlife Refuge in Sudbury, MA
-Lunch at Sea Level Oyster Bar in Salem, MA
-Dinner at Roy Moore Lobster Co in Rockport, MA
-Spend the night at Ocean House Hotel in Gloucester, MA.


Day 2: Ride along the coast North to Boothbay Harbor, ME. 173 miles, 6 hours.
-Visit Castle Hill in Ipswich, MA
-Lunch at Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier in Kitter Point, ME.
-Check out Portland, ME.
-Dinner at Mine Oyster in Boothbay Harbour, ME.
-Spend the night at Linekin Bay Resort.


Day 3: To the White Mountains. 150 miles, 4 hours.
-Breakfast at Linekin Bay
-Kayaking along Damariscotta River
-Lunch at Permaquid Seafood in Bristol, ME
-Coffee stop at Forage Market in Lewiston, ME.
-Stop at grocery store on the way to Huttopia in White Mountains to spend the night.

Day 4: Ride the Kanc! Head to Vermont. 137 miles, 4 hours.
-Breakfast in Conway, NH.
-Ride the entire Kancamagus Highway. 34.5 miles, 3000 feet elevation change, over 200 turns!!!! Bucket list item!
-Lunch at Black Mtn. Burger Co.
-Visit Lost River Gorge and Boulder Caves
-Dinner at Mangalitsa in Woodstock, VT
-Spend the night at the Village Inn, Woodstock, VT.


Day 5: Back to CT. 185 miles, 5 hours.
-Various stops at farmers markets, coffee houses, and restaurants as we take our time getting home.
