hi xj-fans
i colortuned with succes my xj600. after the valve clearance job and carbtuning it was the turn to the colortuning.
before i started i counted the turns of the mixture screws and took a look at the spark plugs, this let me think which way i would have to turn afterwards with colortune and i was right. the mixture screws were all 2.5 turns open. with colortune i had at the end +a half turn at the cylinders 1 and 2 and -a half turn at the cylinders 3 and 4.
as described by the colortune manual i made also the tests 2 and 3 that show if it has any carburator problems and it was everything ok.
it was easy and fast to do. before i had respect doing it, now i'm sure is well done and the engine runs healthy.
