Last night leaving work I decided I’d try and take the interstate home. Well I get up to about 84 mph and here a cylinder cut off so I slow down a little and try and make it to the next exit ramp. Then all cylinders gone just coasting down I40 so I pull over and try and crank the bike nothing, keep trying and get a little spit so I pull the choke out and it cranks up but I can hear it’s only on 2 or 3 cylinders rev it one good time and bam all 4 are back I cruise at about 65 to the next exit and ride on the backroads I usually take home at 65-70 mph. Just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem and how I could fix it or if it’s just a xj thing.
Also I was accelerating pretty quick to get on the interstate and away from other vehicles.
