Obviously new here, already had a look around and found some handy info!
Iv not been riding for the last 4 years due to a bad accident on my Gsxr 1000 and just the hassle off having an international license that isnt valid anymore (now in the process off getting my full English bike license), and having living abroad (Kuwait/dubai) where Yamaha diversions are not really a thing over there so its a hole new world to me. (insurance over there is the main reason there not around i think...its just so cheap..)
Right so, back to the bike!
Just got a '95 xj600 Diversion, quite cheep and 42000km. it obviously has issues and got it as a lil project bike to get me back on the road. Kinda was a spontaneous buy as all my mates now have bikes and I do not.
it also needs
- Exhaust system
- Chain and Sproket
- New oil / filter / sparks
- battery
- front brake calliper
not all that bad, i think. my only issue is my knowledge is lacking so if anyone has any advise please speak out! not afraid off learning something new.
After Its on the road and im back riding, i do plan on making it naked, changing the rear tail and maby... even tho i know its alot off work getting a bigger tires (does the bike even need them tho?)
