seems like a great community.
The reason for my account is due to my interest in the Seca II- some aftermarket versions look awesome and its really growing on me.
I have never owned a motorcycle and I am in the market for one when my boss's friend sent him this:
"If you're interested, moto is a Yamaha Seca II. 600 cc. It's either a 96 or 97. Aftermarket Vance & Hines exhaust. Mileage 15,328. Great bike for all rider levels. Fast, comfortable to ride long distances but not too much torque. Rode it up to the ******** border and all around ****** on a 3-4 day ride with a friend and very comfortable. It's been in my garage since I bought it around 10 years ago. Mostly up on wheel stands. I had it on a battery tender for a while but haven't ridden it in probably 6-7 years. Most likely won't start until it's serviced but it ran perfectly until I stopped riding. Also have a tank bag, saddle bags, a hard to find magnetic leather tank cover, helmets (2), jackets, including a killer vanson leather, boots, gloves... you name it, I pretty much have it. Let me know!"
what do you all think is a fair asking price???
