The bike looked like this when she bought it .

Valve clearences needed checking. Luckily i got the clearences correct with just swapping two shims with each other and that was it.



And the source of the knocking sound! Luckily again the cranckshaft had no damage, and was in correct measurements when cheking. The conrod on the other hand took most of the damage, and needed to be replaced. I bought new big end bearings and a used conrod from bike scrapyard.

THe muffler needed some of my well known muffler improvement skills

I dindn't take pics of what had been done with the muffler when she bought it, but it looked horrible.. it had drill holes and some ''proper'' welding job done to it
