Hi there,

lately i'm having problems starting my bike. After leaving it for about a day or two days it doesn't start. My engine just jams up after 2 revs, and after it jams there is no way it can turn itself over. What i do is i put it in 6th gear and pull the rear tire through the compression a couple of turns. When leaving the bike for a while it smells like petrol.

If it doesn't jam (like after an afternoon of no running) it starts like a tractor. Seems to be running on 2 cilinders or even 1, then slowly (without power) it fires up another cilinder. It's as if it gets flooded by the carbs.

I've tried changing the float needles (i guess that's that they are called), but the old ones seemed fine. As long as it's all fired up and warmed up it runs fine. There is just no way this is healthy.

I hope one of you has any idea...
