Hi

Removed the oil pan from my 1997 XJ600 S...and the problem is the Oil Strainer, trying to detach it from the Oil Pick Up........it has 3 dimpled areas around the outer edge, does it just flip off.....simple things baffle me.......heheheh

I tried unscrewing and gently tapping it, with no success....

Anyone removed it and has some advice.....??
