Hi all.
I am a 50 yrs old guy from the colder parts of Norway. I had some mopeds in my youth, and I have a trial bike to ride in the woods around the farm, but just recently decided to get a license to drive motorcycles on the public roads.
I bought a 1997 XJ600N and picked it up from the seller the same day I got my license and drove it 250km to my home.
Unfortunately I live high up and there is already ice on the roads. So after two days of driving on the winding mountain roads and nearly hitting the front of a meeting car in a slippery right hand turn I decided to park the bike for the season.
So now I am on my way through the service procedures and checks of the Haynes manual.
I really like the bike and already look forward to springtime and ice free roads.
