Hey XJRider!

Been a bit. I have a couple of questions for your brains.

First, after performing a carb cleaning/valve adjustment project I have noticed that my bike requires absolutely no choke to start. Granted, I've only started in temperatures ~70 and above, but even with a week's cold engine it will start with a crack of the throttle and push of the button no problem.

Is this normal with the size 20 pilot jet change and 10 cent rejet ? Everyone seems to say that choke should be required on any cold start. Also, any choke at all will not speed up idle like it used to, but will actually seem to bog down the engine.

Second, I've noticed an interesting noise on idle when the bike is fully warmed up. Like after flying around town for awhile and then stopping at a light. Every so often, with very little regularity, there is a sort of "click" or "pop" that comes from the engine. It is audible as a sort of low "clunk" sound and can be felt slightly through the bike. Think "idle, idle, idle ,idle, clunk, idle, idle, idle, idle" maybe with a "clunk" every 5 - 30 seconds at random. Never with any regularity. This only occurs at warm idle, never while moving. Could this be a bearing problem, or maybe the timing chain?

Sorry for the wall of text. Thanks.
