I don't like the idea of all the crap from the breathers getting fed back into the engine. All the older bikes I had the pipes vented to atmosphere. Is there any reason not to do this with XJ?
If that is not OK for some reason, have been looking at cheap catch cans made for cars, has two nipples, so could use them for crankcase and head, but would need some sort of vent for gas to escape. I was thinking drill a big hole in the cap and cover with mesh to keep the bugs out.
I know it's not going to make a huge difference either way, but if I can make the engine look better and last longer for $20, it seems daft not to.
