Hello. New xjrider

Hi everyone. I'm a new motorcyclist from lymington in Hamshire. Just bought my first big bike, an 1997 xj diversion. I'm really happy with it and don't understand why people call these bikes boring. I find it light and nimble and certainly feels powerful enough. I recently sold my car to get into motorcycling. I come from a cycling background and commute 4-5000 miles a year in all weathers. So motorcycling all year round should be reasonably ok too. I hope. You just can't get anywhere by car these days, too many on the road round in the south. Just made sense to have a motorbike instead of a car.
