Hi

I have both Clymer and Haynes but I still can't figure the best way to remove the carburettor, a bearing in the gearbox has collapsed so I need to remove carbs, cylinders etc and split the cases.
I have the carburettors in front of me and I have unscrewed the clamp screws beneath the carburettor, and also the electrical connection left hand side suppose Cylinder No 1, I still have 3 cable connections and I wondered the best way to go, is it better to undo the cables from the handlebar end then unclip at the carburettor end, or is there some other easier way.
I am as usual in no hurry, but just wondered, if there was an easy way.
I looked if there was a How-To for numpties like me, but couldn't see any

regards

roy
