I have been a member for a few months but haven't gotten around to posting. I bought my 1992 Seca 2 last November and rode it a bit but am gearing up for my first actual riding season with it. I made the mistake of thinking I could build a brat bike out of a $500 craigslist basketcase GS550 early last year and hit a massive roadblock with the carbs. I knew I wanted something to ride so when a friend was offered (what is now) my seca as a trade for something he was selling, I told him I'd buy it from him. It was repainted at some point in it's life from red to a two tone scheme of silver frame and blue plastics/tank. So far this week I've changed the sprockets and chain, rebuilt the front caliper, installed an fz6r rear shock and will be tackling racetech springs and fork seals tonight. I want to go ahead and offer my sincerest gratitude to everyone who has posted on this awesome forum. The knowledge and general kindness I've seen from lurking is incredible coming from some other forums I've been on in the past. Obligatory picture below.
