Hi guys, i runed my baby yesterday on the highway and i stretched her legs but im believe im having fuel issues since it stoped gaining speed at 160Km/h and i noticed engine fullpower and cut, fuelpower and cut, just like when the fuel is runing out but after a few miliseconds it comes fullpower again and vice versa. if i cut a litle bit the acelerator it remains contant at that speed without that.
What do you guys think it is? carbs here fully cleaned by a professional, and in normal aceleration if runs normal.
Im thinking maybe fuelpetcock, fuelpetcock filter or gaspump, because it seams that the fuel runs out on the carbs for that moment and then refilled again, causing that intermitent power....
Can we replace only the fuel petcock filters? mine where dirty due to long storage, but i clean them. Not as new but they where clean!?!
Could be the fuel pump not delivering enoughf fuel at that high consumption?
