Hello all. I have been on and off this forum for quite some time. I went off to the Army and am now back and looking to get my Seca back on the road. I put it away 2.5 years ago and it was running, but the rear wheel bearing were shot. I recently just purchased a fzr rear wheel that comes with the rear sprocket, brake rotor, cush drive, axle and spacers. While looking to purchase tires I was trying to find a matching set of tires. I found some Bridgestone Battlax 110/80-17 and 140/70-18 that I was hoping to purchase. I was just curious; does the 140/70-18 fit well on the fzr rear wheel? I know it's slightly taller, but just wanted to make sure there werent clearance issues. I also went out and purchased a 2014 fz6r rear shock, new rear rotor and pads, and new sprockets and chain. I havent purchased the rotor and pads yet because I did have a question on that as well..is it necessary to spend 50 bucks on a new rotor? I have the one on my current xj600 rear wheel (about 35,000 miles on it) and the one coming on the fzr wheel. The one on my current xj wheel never shook the bike and doesn't appear to be warped. The one on the fzr wheel I have no idea about. I just want to get all the parts I need and put it all together in one shot..none of this on and off checking for parts. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you all, and I can't wait to get this old girl back on the road after hiding in the garage for 2+ years!
