Larger front tire?

I really like the idea of (semi) matching tires....we all know that there are 130/70's on the rear, would the 130/70-17 fit up front? even with fender removal/modification? thanks gang! my bike is not on the road right now and I figured I might as well swap the bald michy up front for a pirelli
