I just got my hands on a 1985 model, but it has some starting problems, it wount fire, has a few burning bangs now and then, just bought a new coil on left side syl. 1 and 4, becouse the old one had a crack, thougt i was home free, but not...
Firing order is left coil 1, 4 right coil 2,3 from left side, sitting on bike, is this correct ? carbs has been out and cleaned, it was gasolin in the engine oil, have changed oil with new.
Could it be a faulty ignitor ? i Have checked the rubber sealings on top off all 4 carbs, all good.
Any tips ???

Turned out after cleaning carbs and petcock and this dident solve the problem, i then bougt new spark plugs, and guess what...
Turnes out that last owner has used wrong spark plugs, next issue now is getting carbs back to basic since hi also has tempered with the carbs settings.
