Hey guys, so I had been having issues with my starter, it turned out to be hydrolocked, and starter gear teeth broken off. In the mean time I've been bump starting it to get around. Then I discovered about a week ago that sometimes my starter would work, and sometimes it would just spin and I'd have to bump start it again. (I'm guessing a few teeth are missing...) That is until mid-last week I filled up with gas and then it locked up. I pressed the starter and it started to turn over, then locked up. Tried bump starting it after that, but now it won't even bump start. When I got it home I tried pulling the plugs, and hand cranking it, but to no avail. I also tried rocking it back and forth in gear to attempt to knock it loose, still no go. I'm guessing I'll have to take the engine apart and replace the starter gears, but I wanted to post here first and see if you guys agree.
(I will be posting a link of this thread in the for sale section, if anybody makes me a tempting enough offer I would sell it before I take it apart. There is another for sale around here, so if I sell this one I'd be getting another SECA II.)
