Hi folks, I thought it was time I come in from the cold and introduce myself. I come from sunny Glasgow in Scotland, well it was sunny a couple of weeks ago lol. I ride a 2001 XJ600N in red. This is my first big bike after passing my test on a Honda Varadero 125 and then upgrading to a BMW F650 that was restricted due to the A2 licence route that I done in order to keep the price down. This wee bike does everything I need and at not a lot of cost I will get a picture uploaded soon. So the reason I'm on here is to get the bike looking better and adding my own touches to it. The things I want to get sorted in no particular order is - swing arm painted, wheels painted, getting a good shine to the otherwise good paint on main body and tank clean and service callipers. As I like this wee bike and not in a rush to get a new one I will take my time and get these things sorted. I think I will look to get a new rear shock as the one that's on it is looking a bit crap and unloved. So that's the plan and looking forward to having a wee chat and learning from all of you
