I need to take the head off the engine - the manual says I could warp the head if the engine isn't cold.
How long after a relatively short ride (say 5-10 miles) do you think I'd be safe to do this?
Just wait until the engine feels cold? Few hours? Overnight?
I don't want to risk engine damage, but don't want to waste spannerin' time (this is my only transport, and the head needs sending off for some welding)
Ambient temp around here right now is about 15c
