Hey guys. So I'm fairly new to this site. Never posted on this site before until I found this site was a better suit for me and my bike compared to xjbikes. This site is extremely helpful; thanks for answering many of my questions without even trying haha.
To the current problem I have right now. I recently cleaned my carbs (my first time) according to the thread posted by Radare. Long story short, I was having problems getting it to start again but finally got it to fire and start (stupid little mistakes, as it seems it always is lol). As I said, I got it started but after running a little while I noticed a gas leak. Upon further inspection I found that the gas was overflowing/leaking from the jet or screw (I'm not sure what it is exactly) that is next to the pilot air jet (to the left and up a little). I have no idea what this part is and what it does. Is is connected to the floats or is it something else?
Sorry if this is a stupid question or an easy fix--I am just lost as to what it is and am tired of my bike not running properly (Itching to ride since the weather is starting to be so nice). If you guys have any input or ideas I would greatly appreciate them! Thanks!! (Since I've never posted before either and don't know if it will show up, I have a 93 Seca II)
