So I got an email today from CycleGear saying that they have their speedmetal LED headlight kits on sale right now. Here's the link:

For less then $50 it seems like a steal. Only problem is that I switched to the Honda hornet 599 headlight and that one uses H11 bulbs. The speedmetal kit only comes in H4 (stock XJ600 size) and H7. So I can't use this particular kit but was thinking of maybe looking into other options out there. Has anyone used a kit like this? 2200-2400 lumens seems quite bright and I'm thinking it would maybe save on power and be able to be wired up so that I can use both the low beam and high beam at the same time. It says it draws only 24w of power per bulb so if I use two I'd still be under the 55w of one single regular bulb.
I'm considering this kit from oracle which gives two H11 bulbs rated at 2200 lumens and draw 56w total power (for two bulbs. Do you guys think this is an option for upgraded lights? and do you think I'd be able to wire them so that both lights come on when I turn the brights on? That's the way the Hornet headlight is designed to work but the XJ600 wiring doesn't like pushing the two bulbs very well, or so I've heard, I haven't played with them at all yet. I just thought I'd get some opinions before deciding if I should go this route or not. Your thoughts please???
