Hi guys and gals, picking up my first big bike hopefully this week it's a 1997 Yamaha XJ600N with 13k on the clock, it's had a new gearbox the only thing wrong with it is it needs a front lever as the old one is slightly bent and the chokes a bit tight, other than that i'm ecstatic about getting it, only £800 aswell As the topic says it's my first big bike as I have ridden 125's for a while now, at 16 I had a 50cc geared bike at 17 I drove a car when I turned 19 I get me cbt done (again) and got a suzuki 125 naked sports bike, after that I had a kawasaki eliminator 125 (I prefered the cruiser style of bikes). Since seeing the xj advertised on facebook I loved the look of it. As I am only 19 I'm gonna have to restrict it down to 46.6bhp or 35kw because of the new stupid laws. The reason I joined was because I wanna be able to chat to like minded people about issues/mods etc. Hope to talk to you all soon!
