Hello,
I have a 94 xj600 with just under 10k miles. The bike sat for approximately 10 yrs and I've had it running for a month or so. It's running great now, but has started to tick now from the left side of the motor. Sounds like a valve to me. It shows up once it's warmed up and doesn't affect performance at all. It increases with the engine speed and seems to disappear above 4k rpm or so.
