clicking sound from front

Hi, Can any one help !!!.... just bought a 1995 xj600s diversion. Noticed once bikes warmed up that when I slow down I get a real loud click click from front, sounds like its coming from front wheel area. Checked wheel bearings, seem fine with no free play etc, no loose cables etc, head stock bearings fine with no free play or notchiness, front disc and caliper checked and all fine...... Only happens once bikes been run for 20 mins or so and only when slowing down below 15mph, pulling clutch in makes no difference nor does applying brakes... definite clicking sound like something plastic is bouncing off the front wheel............. Please any ideas to help as its doing my head in.
