Guys, I got the acorn screw (ripped off by the local dealer for $10.60, and they wonder why the parts departments are dying) and got the carbs looking sweet. Every jet is cleaned out, every passage wired and shot through. I put everything back together and noticed that the carb slides don't come down at the same rate. I went through and took the tops apart, spayed everything off again, cleaned off the slide and bodies getting a bit that I missed the first time, inspected the diaphrams (no leaks or tears, everything seals tight) the needles are straight and cleaned....just nothing comes down at the same rate. The choke side is the slowest, the middle 2 are the fastest, and the last one in the middle of the other side and the middle 2....

I thought the springs all had about the same resistance and were all the same free length. Am I missing a passage that might be blocked or what? HELP!!! :o
