Well as I said in a couple of posts over the weekend, today was taking my XJ in to have new tyres put on. (Its a 1994 S and hasn't been used much at all and still has the original, somewhat hard now tyres on it)
Got it out this morning, popped some fresh fuel in and watched all the fuel pretty much fall out of the bottom again> bugger.
Needless to say, bike is now in with our favorite mechanic Andy for what he called 'a bloody good carb clean' and as soon as thats done, its then going to have the tyres changed.
bit gutted as we were going to go out for a proper jolly to the coast after tyres were fitted but better the new tyres are not then coated in fuel !!
