Tapping noise getting louder

Since i have had my bike it has always had a small tapping noise. searching the forums i have found this is pretty normal and that our bikes have weird loud top ends. But i changed the oil and now the tapping has gotten quite a bit louder. bike runs like a dream minus being a little lean (will fix this soon!). But any ideas on what it is? I know its not clutch rattle. it is constantly ticking and speeds up as the bike speeds up. if it is bad i would like to fix it. but if it is something normal and nothing to worry about i will just learn to deal with it. Any info would be great!
