Cant get passed 2nd gear!

So today I swapped in new sprockets and chain on my xj along with a fresh oil change. Unfortunately while doing this a buddy of mine knocked the bike off the stand landing on its side :thumbdown: Propped the bike back up and finished my oil change and sprocket/chain replacement. Bolted everything back up and got on for a test ride. Had trouble starting and warming up but i figured it was because of fuel getting in places it shouldn't be when the bike dropped. Took off anyways and found that i can shift from 1st to 2nd but it will not shift up after 2nd, and finding neutral is very difficult. Any ideas on what this could be? from the drop? or from something i messed up on with the sprockets? any help would be appreciated!
