Wife bought me the MSF class to get my license as a gift a few years ago. Been thinking more and more about trying to buy a bike when I found a 1992 Yamaha Seca on Craigslist for $300. Broken starter, hasn't been run in a while, but without the fairing and with a big Honda headlight upfront it was a bike I could get excited about! One leaky float turned into replacing float needles and gaskets. Leaky petcock led to another Craigslist find: $100 parts bike, but alas totally eaten away tank and petcock. Reserve works, so with new fuel and vacuum line and I've finally got it started. Just need new tires

Tearing the parts bike down, and will probably be posting lots of bits here. Excited to find an XJ600 community, and some like minded design taste when it comes to naked/cafe builds...
