Has anyone installed a valve in the fuel line between the petcock and filter to actually ensure the flow be off? I rebuilt my petcock this past winter and it worked fine until I had other issues.
Im pretty much looking for a quick fix to a free flowing petcock so I dont have to tear it apart during riding season. Tear it apart may be an overstatement for the issue at hand. But anyways, everything else seems fine so my idea was to just put a valve inline that I can turn to off while not riding and actually fix it next winter.
Upon finding more info on this, is there a specific type of valve that would need to be put in due to the fluid being gas?
