Hey everybody, I recently had a vacuum leak with the hose that connects from the petcock to cylinder 1. I replaced it and it worked well. After a long ride though, sometimes it wouldn't want to start the next day. It seemed like I had an intermittent vacuum problem which didn't make sense since I just replaced the hose. With further inspection I noticed that when the bike is running, there is just a teensy bit of fuel in the vacuum line right off of the petcock. I don't know if it makes sense, but it seems to be coming from inside the petcock. Is this possible and would it make it so the bike wouldn't start easily? And would a petcock rebuild kit fix that? The fuel around the petcock in the picture is just from the fuel line above leaking. I have since fixed that. Fuel only comes into the vacuum line when its running, not when the bike is off. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. -David
The black circle is where a little bit of fuel comes out when it's running. It doesn't get sucked up all the way into the cylinder though.
